Duo "Dialogue" was founded in 1997 in Sofia, Bulgaria. It`s the only mandolin & guitar duo in Bulgaria and has been giving successful concerts there. The Duo tries to make the mandolin more popular among his contemporaries. Plamen & Danney, the two players, are representatives of the typical genre in the music for mandolin and guitar. Their repertoire includes the most popular Italian songs, famous classical pieces and well known evergreens as well. Thanks to the tasteful selection of pieces and skilled interpretation, the Duo wins his way to people`s hearts. Since 2003 duo “Dialogue” is a member of the Association of the German plucked musicians.


Plamen Ivanov, born in 1976 in Sofia, has completed his university study at the University of National and World Economy, Faculty of Law, but the mandolin is his passion. Plamen began playing at the age of seven and received his musical education from Assen Dimitrov and Ivan Maslev. Three years later he became the youngest member of the biggest mandolin orchestra in Bulgaria. With this orchestra he has made many concerts in the biggest halls all over the country. Plamen Ivanov has made successful tours in Spain with the orchestra "Sofia mandolinists" and in Holland as a concert-master of the "Vazrajdane" orchestra.


Iordan Ribarov - Danney, born in 1973 in Sofia, comes from a very musical family: his father was composer and piano player, his mother is conductor and singing teacher. At the age of five Danney began playing piano. He was 15 years old as he began to play the guitar. He received his singing education from his mother and the guitar education from Panaiot Panaiotov and as a student at the Academy of Music and Dance Art in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, from Georgi Tzonev and Stella Miteva. Danney has made many concerts as a guitar player and choir singer. With few of the most popular Bulgarian choirs he has made successful tours in Greece, The Slovak Republic, Austria and Belgium. In 2002 and 2003 Danney was participant in the Baroque seminar in Blankenburg (Germany).
